I NEED TO CHANGE THE DELIVERY ADDRESS OR DELIVERY DATE ON MY ORDER, WHAT NOW?
Unfortunately, we may have to charge you a handling fee if your delivery has already left our premises and needs to be rerouted. You may email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to change your delivery details.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M NOT HAPPY WITH MY VARS VLEIS PURCHASE?
Please take note when you place an order, some products may not be returned. This is due to the fact that we produce and cut meat products specifically for a customer and can therefore not have them returned. We can’t sell returned products in our shop or online due to cut, size, weight or manufacturing constraints and also not if the cold-chain which ensures the meat stays fresh is broken. WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE SURE MY VARS VLEIS ORDER IS DELIVERED?
In order to ensure a timeous delivery, please provide us with a very detailed address. If it’s a company, don’t forget to add in the company name, block and office number, you can even tell us which department they’re in. If it’s a home address, don’t forget to add in the apartment or complex number. We also need information about security measures at your estate or complex, and a gate security code should it be necessary.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE RECIPIENT IS NOT AT HOME AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY?
If the recipient is not at home when we attempt our delivery, the driver will endeavour to return once more at a later time. Thereafter additional delivery costs will be charged.
WHAT METHOD OF PAYMENT DOES VARS VLEIS ACCEPT?
We accept a variety of payment methods through the familiar and trusted OZOW payment gateway. We process MasterCard and Visa credit & cheque cards, instant EFT & ATM debit cards. Unfortunately, no COD (Cash On Delivery) payments.
WHAT ARE VARS VLEIS DELIVERY TIMES?
We deliver on weekdays only to the Centurion and Midstream areas; Monday to Friday between 9h00 and 17h00. We will deliver to the specific areas only due to time constraints; contact us for more information. Some remote areas may need additional time for delivery.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY PARCEL TO BE DELIVERED?
Orders received before 14h00 can be delivered the following day unless communicated otherwise. All orders received after 14h00 will be delivered the day after the following day. Orders received on a Friday can all be delivered on the following Monday. Please note we do not make deliveries on weekends or public holidays.
CAN I COLLECT MY ORDER?
Yes, we allow for the pickup of orders. The pickup date and time can be selected on the Checkout Page when placing your online order. Pickup times are weekdays; Monday to Friday between 8h00 and 17h00 and on Saturdays from 8h00 to 15h00.
DO I PAY TO PICK UP MY ORDER?
No, there is no charge for collecting your order at Wierda Park Butchery.
IS IT SAFE TO DISCLOSE MY CARD INFO AND ADDRESS ON VARS VLEIS?
Absolutely! Our site is verified by “Let’s Encrypt”, all your information is encrypted, and your shopping is secured by SSL.
DOES VARS VLEIS CHARGE FOR DELIVERY?
Yes, we charge a flat fee of R100 per order, regardless of the size or number of items ordered. Delivery for orders above R1000 is free.
