REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
We hope you’re satisfied with your purchase, but we understand that sometimes things just don’t work out as planned. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund or exchange the product for another one, be it similar or not, ONLY if the product is in its original packaging and has remained frozen or kept in the cold chain as when originally supplied. Please contact us before leaving negative feedback, so we can work out a refund or exchange. Please contact us within 48 hours of receipt to discuss the refund or exchange.
Please take note when you place an order, some products may not be returned. This is due to the fact that we produce and cut meat products specifically for a customer and can therefore not have them returned. We can’t sell returned products in our shop or online due to cut, size, weight or manufacturing constraints and also not if the cold-chain which ensures the meat stays fresh is broken.
Products may be exchanged within 7 days of receiving them. To qualify for an exchange, all goods must be in their original packaging and has remained frozen or kept in the cold chain as when originally supplied.
Products may be refunded within 7 days of receiving them, directly through Vars Vleis. To qualify for a refund, all goods must be in their original packaging and has remained frozen or kept in the cold chain as when originally supplied. Items will be accessed before a refund is confirmed. Vars Vleis reserves the right to reject any refund request if the product is received damaged, unfrozen, not kept cold or been handled without gloves. The product will need to be returned to Vars Vleis in its original packaging prior to the refund being authorised. Refunds can only be made to the original purchaser.
If any product is defective within 2 days after being received, we will replace or refund it, if it is a product defect, and that the defect did not develop because of neglect.
Return shipment and delivery costs are the responsibility of the buyer. We cannot be held responsible for items damaged or lost in return shipment; therefore, we recommend the product be delivered to our Butchery in person. We are unable to issue a refund without actual receipt of the item(s) or proof of received return delivery.
